Investigate on the Internet a traditional article of clothing from a hispanic country. Record your voice using an avatar on voki.com with the general information about the piece of clothing. For example, what is it called, where is it from, what is it, what is it made of, what colors does it come in, who wears it, and when do they wear it?

  1. I thought the reading was interesting, but some of the words were difficult to understand what they were when it was just a picture to describe it because there was so much in some of the pictures. Therefore I didn't do well on the quiz. But, I thought the actual information that was given was interesting though and the description of everyday clothing due to it's climate.

  2. I found the reading helpful. It was hard to decipher at points but overall it was helpful along with the pictures. The questions were good to read before the reading because it gave you an idea of what was happening. The clothes and descriptions were helpful for the test we took today in class. The quiz was difficult for me but all together helped towards practice at spanish.

  3. I thought the reading was interesting as well. I found it to be very informative though difficult at times to comprehend. It was a good challenge. I really liked the pictures and well as the video! Pictures always help when you don't understand something that well.

  4. The reading was interesting and it was challenging to figure out what some of the words were. But that helps practicing using other words that I do know to figure out what I am reading. I did not really understand why the video was important but I guess it was good to get an idea of where the story was taking place and what the climate was like there.

  5. The reading was a bit difficult to get through. The links provided for some of the words made it easier to understand what the reading was about. The reading did provide good practice from having to sit down and try to understand what each sentence meant. The quiz was a little tough to get through although I did like how you could see the correct answers to each question.

  6. The reading was hard to follow because there was a lot of vocab that we haven't even learned yet and verbs that are unknown. At times it wasn't to hard to understand what was going on and i could pick up a few words here and there. But it helps to read and concentrate on a text that you cannot fully understand because it forces you to use your brain and try to depict what is being said.

  8. I like the fact that the reading had highlighted words to link me to the definition or at least a picture of what they were talking about, that made things really helpful because then i could use context clues to figure out the other words. Also a good thing about the quiz was that it gave the reason why my answer was wrong or right in both spanish and english, which I liked mucho.

  9. The video of peru looked beautiful especially lake titicaca. The reading was challenging however the links to definitions and pictures where helpful. It's crazy that people live at such high altitudes 15000 ft?! The animals that live up at those altitudes are very different from what live around here as well. I also feel honored to have received my certification of 75% percent.
